Peter M. Clark

Designer & illustrator who keeps exploring

Job Art director

Lives In Deering Highlands

I’m a designer, illustrator, husband, and father of two furry animals living in Portland. I enjoy exploring the outdoors, black metal, drinking coffee and reading up on history books and graphic novels. In addition to my work for clients and my own personal projects, I partner with my wife Karen to produce work under the name Fern House Co.

Why did you choose Portland? I grew up in NH, but vacationed in Maine most of my childhood. After spending almost a decade living and working in Philadelphia, I guess I was drawn back here due to the landscape and the overall small city and creative vibe Portland gives off.

Who are Portlanders you admire and why? Portland has a lot of great and talented folks, I admire them all!

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? My current happy place is the local coffee and bagel places, walking through downtown hearing the birds and seeing the skyline before heading home every night from work. I really enjoy the library as well and reading up on Maine history.
