Michael's foundation began with his education in theatre arts. After graduating, with a B.A. in theatre he moved to New York City to pursue his dreams of working in the television and film industry.
Michael worked as the operations manager for Postworks New York, the largest post-production facility on the East Coast, for several years. He was promoted from operations manager to post-production project manager, working with many hit shows such as "30 Rock," "Nurse Jackie," Michael Moore's "Capitalism" and several Bruce Springsteen documentaries and several award-winning independent films. Additionally while in NYC, he worked with many film festivals including: Tribeca Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival and Independent Film Project. In this time, he broadened his understanding of film distribution, promotion, marketing and financing.
Currently, Michael is working as a board member of Mensk.org as well as the Operations Manager of Dispatch Magazine / Intriuge Group.
Why did you choose Portland? Born and raised here in Portland, I recently moved back for the love of the arts, local culture and opportunities for furthering my career.
What do you like to do with out-of-towners? Day on the water and lots of seafood.

I solve Portland's creative problems by day and push the boundaries of pop art by night.
I help people use technology to enrich and simplify their lives. I also ride bikes. A lot.
