Lives In Portland

My family and I moved to Portland in 1999 because it felt like the perfect place for us. I spent the first seven years running a small bookstore/cafe in the Old Port with my husband and have since worked as a freelance writer and editor, as well as co-owner of another small family business. I love the fact that I'm never more than five minutes away from the ocean, and I try to put my feet on a rocky beach every single day. I also like to photograph Portland's natural and man-made beauty and eavesdrop on its inhabitants.
