I paint things that are important to people and I help small businesses get found online.

Job Portrait Artist, Web Consultant / On the web and in my clients' homes.

Lives In Munjoy Hill

I moved to Portland in 2001. It immediately felt like home. I started my freelance art and design business here in 2008. I am a fine artist, portrait artist, and web designer. I use the experience I've gained marketing myself online to help the self employed and very small businesses get found online affordably. Portland is a mecca for independent entrepreneurs and it's my goal to help the ones with limited budgets get found online and grow their businesses and contribute to the community.

Why did you choose Portland? I fell in love with Portland... in February... when I was exploring places to move back to New England to after a decade in Seattle. It is the perfect mixture of urban amenities with a more laid back, live and let live culture.

Who are Portlanders you admire and why? I run into amazing, creative, ambitious people in Portland all the time. Currently I admire Rich Brooks and Amanda O'Brien of Flyte Media and Social Media Breakfast Maine and Brit Vitalius of Vitalius Real Estate Group for his contributions to the Creative Portland.

What do you like to do with out-of-towners? My favorite thing to do is pack a cooler with snacks and wine and take either the sunset or mail run cruise on the Casco Bay Ferry line.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? My happy place is my own backyard patio where I can sit and drink coffee and gaze up at the Observatory.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? My favorite indulgence is Dinner at Lolita on Munjoy Hill or drinks at the Top of the East in Congress Square.

What's the most under-appreciated place or thing in town? I think the parks are under appreciated and under used. Both Proms and Deering Oaks are beautiful parks and I'm always surprised at how empty they always are in the Summer.
