Hi there, my name is Corey Templeton. I am proud to both live and work in the fine city of Portland. Photography is not my main occupation, but it is a hobby that keeps me busy year-round. Through sharing my photography online I have been able to connect with a lot of creative local people, and I have also been able to share the city with people from around the world.
Why did you choose Portland? Portland is the right size for me at this stage in my life. It's small enough that you can learn people's names and make a difference in the community, but also large enough that you can continue to grow and experience new places and things.
What do you like to do with out-of-towners? I am biased as a car-free individual, but I always recommend that people from out of town get out of their cars! The Portland peninsula and its surrounding neighborhoods are safe and easy to navigate on foot, and you can see a lot of things that you would miss if you don't get off the main streets.
