I photograph the stuff you make, and the things you do.
Job Photographer / Freelance
Lives In Freeport
I have been a freelance photographer for over a decade. My primary specialty is product photography, with over 10 years experience photographing high end antiques. I am also an expert at headshots and branding photography, showing other professionals in their element.
I live in Freeport with my wife, two daughters and two rescue dogs. When I am not working, I enjoy home renovations, hiking, camping, and exploring new places throughout the great state of Maine.
Why did you choose Portland? I actually live in Freeport now, but spent several years living in Portland. It has an infectious energy and optimism, and a lot going on without being overwhelming.
Who are Portlanders you admire and why? I have a great respect for the individuals fighting to keep the character of Portland even as it grows and changes. Artists, entrepreneurs, and others that recognize what is great about Portland and want to build on it.
What do you like to do with out-of-towners? Browse the Old Port galleries and shops, walk the waterfront, and enjoy one of the many amazing restaurants.
Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? The East End Beach, let the dogs run, kids dig in the sand, and soak in the sun. Everybody is happy.
What's the most surprising thing about this city? How amazingly close you are to incredibly gorgeous, sparsely populated, wilderness.
What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Anything offered at Street & Co.
Describe your perfect night—and the following morning—in Portland. Dinner out, followed by a concert in town at any of the great venues. Bar hopping after the concert, and breakfast at Marcy's in the morning to nurse the hangover.
Do you have a serendipity spot? Where do you always bump into good people? Coffee by Design, any of their locations, I almost always see someone I know.
