I SPIN YARNS
Lives In AWOL: (The) Area West Of Longfellow (Square)
I was born in Portland by chance and came back here by choice.
For a few years I was living in New York. I did a little acting, in mostly-empty theaters, and a lot of catering in a $25 tuxedo. By the time I found budbugs in my apartment I was ready to go; I left my job, threw away all my clothes, and moved home.
And that's when I started working with video. Since then I've been writing and producing short films, telling my own stories and helping other people tell theirs.
Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? My stoop overlooking Congress Street--seats to the best show in town.
What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? An Armory snack plate.
What's the most under-appreciated place or thing in town? The Armory snack plate.
I help nonprofits communicate their mission effectively, and I advocate for flexible work arrangements.
I teach strength, empowerment and self expression through movement with Dance, Buti and Yoga.
I help people use technology to enrich and simplify their lives. I also ride bikes. A lot.
