Why did you choose Portland? Long story short, Portland sort of chose me -- and I'm glad it did.

Who are Portlanders you admire and why? I particularly admire the many Portlanders who volunteer to make Congress Square Park one of the cultural hearts of the city.

What do you like to do with out-of-towners? I love seeing Maine's coast through the eyes of friends who visit.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Anywhere outside with my kids.

Do you have a serendipity spot? Where do you always bump into good people? You can't go wrong at any of Portland's coffee spots -- or Congress Square Park, see above.
