Job designer / daisies & pearls | MERRYMAKING

Lives In Portland

My greatest aspiration in establishing daisies & pearls, is exercising my creativity to deliver a truly personalized, detail infused occasion. I have been described as a “perfectionist and go-getter”; while in the same breathe “the life of the party”. My diversity can be best demonstrated by an obsession with both, Martha Stewart and Rod Stewart.

Born and raised in the Finger Lakes region of New York, I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design with a minor in Art History from Rochester Institute of Technology. Upon graduating I headed to New England, working as an interior designer on large scale corporate projects in Boston and Connecticut; before settling in Maine to live “the way life should be”. My artistic side is consistently screaming to be unleashed. I continue my passion through consulting, exploring new realms of the design world, planning corporate events and most recently weddings.

My hobbies include cooking, crafting, gardening and sewing. I spend my free time with my husband, Chad and our two beloved German Short Haired Pointers, Daisy and Pearl. With a life philosophy to always think outside the box, I refuse to fall into the cookie cutter category. My flair and attention to detail commands me towards a quest for inspiration and an overall aesthetic in everything I do.
