I make things and I fix things

Job Artist, Gilder, Frame maker, Conservator / Artifacts/Lone Pine Projects

Lives In East Puckerbrush

My folks were craftsmen. I have always been exposed to art and encouraged to be creative.  For over 26 years, I have been an art handler, preparator, gilder and maker of frames, artist, craftsman, etc.  With my partner and husband, David Keef,  we operated our gallery of mid century design furnishings and antique art on Congress Square for nearly two decades.  Now we meet people by appointment out of our space at ThinkTank in the Old Port.  I work in gilded and painted surfaces, photography, and mixed media imagery.  As Artifacts we make custom picture frames for artists, collectors, designers, and museums in carved, gilded, or natural wood finishes.  We conserve and restore gilded objects and historic picture frames. And we buy, sell, and broker antique and vintage fine and decorative art.  We have dogs, chickens, and have raised and bred heritage turkeys.  Mainers are known for multitasking. We sure do fit the bill.
