I was born here. I used to be a prothonotary and now i'm an artist. My spouse and children are makers, too. I like nature & art, water & boats, music & silence.
Why did you choose Portland? I grew up within 30 miles of Portland.
What do you like to do with out-of-towners? Get them close to the water, if not out on it.
Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? Longfellow's garden.
What's the most surprising thing about this city? The variety of food options.
What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? Chai at (in alphabetical order) Arabica, Bard, Crema, Others...
What's the most under-appreciated place or thing in town? The top floors of the parking garages.
