Why did you choose Portland? I instantly fell in love with the small town feel of this city. The visible arts community was a big influence on my deciding to make Portland home after I finished my undergraduate degree.

Where's your "happy place" on the peninsula? The Eastern and Western promenades are pretty special places to me. The ocean view of the Eastern Prom is so grounding, while the sunsets of the Western Prom are uplifting and inspiring.

What's your favorite indulgence and where do you find it? It's obviously more than one: #1 'Cake in a jar' at the Great Lost Bear #2 Gobi Berry Stew from Green Elephant and #3 the Textile and Fiber book collection at the Public Library.

Do you have a serendipity spot? Where do you always bump into good people? Congress Street is a great place to see everyone.
